OUR SPACES

A Deco-inspired cocktail and oyster bar hidden beyond the hotel’s lobby, The Tusk Bar pairs timeless elegance with free-wheeling flair. Look for bright takes on classic cocktails mixed by artful bartenders, oysters being freshly shucked behind a grand marble bar and a seafood-driven menu from culinary partners Jeremiah Stone and Fabian Von Hauske Valtierra (Wildair, Contra, People’s Wine).

Taking as the inspiration an upscale bohemian Parisian apartment, the intimate space balances historic features with vintage elements and eclectic art.

Accommodating up to 70 for cocktail parties, the intimate Tusk Bar features a show-stopping central bar, surrounded by intimate cocktail tables and lounge-style seating nooks.

When it opens in spring 2024, BRASS will be a new destination restaurant that pays homage to the grand dining rooms of New York. Taking inspiration from the style of French brasseries but without adhering to their playbook, the menu will showcase the playful contemporary spirit that characterize chefs Jeremiah Stone and Fabian Von Hauske Valtierra.

With sumptuous seating set against color-soaked architecture and hand- painted frescos, the dining room centers on a piano located under the oversized original skylight.

Intended to capture the energy of the city in a new Golden Age, the BRASS dining room can accommodate seated events for 70+.

PRIVATE DINING ROOM

Located behind the Tusk Bar and opposite the entrance to BRASS, in the original dining room of the hotel, is a speakeasy-style wood-paneled Private Dining Room.

Oozing with charm and original Deco features, the space accommodates 30 seated. It can be combined with The Tusk Bar for pre-dinner cocktails followed by a seated private dinner, with a bespoke menu available, as well as AV equipment if needed.

NINEPIN CAFE

A sunny all-day Manhattan café, reopening in spring 2024.
The existing street-facing daytime café will be getting a facelift and all-new menu, creating a vibrant spot with nods to European and Aussie café culture. Currently open daily for hotel guests and New Yorkers alike, the front cafe space can host casual daytime and cocktail hour events of 30- 45 people or can be combined with the adjacent upper level mezzanine, perfect for professional offsites requiring a workspace.
